RESEARCH PROJECTS GRANTS IN CHILD AND ADOLESCENT NEUROSCIENCES

– Team led by the Researcher Dr. Julian Taylor Green of the Hospital Nacional de Parapléjicos (SESCAM) of Toledo, which includes the Researchers: Dr. Beatriz Huidobro Labarga, Dr. Inmaculada Castillo Aguilar and Dr. Ángel Manuel Gil Agudo. Project title: Influence of TRPA1 polymorphisms on the prevalence of pain and its biopsychosocial characteristics in children with spinal cord injury: identification of protective and risk genetic factors.

– Team led by Researcher Dr. M. Julia García Fuster of the University Institute of Health Sciences Research (IUNICS), University of the Balearic Islands, Palma de Mallorca, with the participation of Researchers Dr. Fernando Yáñez Gómez, Cristian Bis Humbert and Elena Hernández Hernández. Project Title: Neurobiology of depression in adolescence: Comparison of the efficacy of different antidepressant treatments in male and female rats.

– Team led by Researcher Dr. Francisco Olucha Bordonau from the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitat Jaume I, Castellón de la Plana, with the participation of Researchers Dr. Francisco Ros Bernal, Dr. Esther Castillo Gómez and Dr. Marta Miquel Salgado-Araujo. Project Title: The balance between oxytocin and relaxin3 in the configuration of neural networks underlying autism spectrum disorders and other alterations of social behavior.
