Daniel Ilzarbe Simorte

Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Zaragoza, he completed his residency in Psychiatry at the Psychiatry and Clinical Psychology Teaching Unit of the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona (2011-2015). During the same she did several rotations in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, including one in the Recognition and Prevention (RAP) Program in the Child and Adolescent Hospitalization Unit of the Zucker Hillside Hospital (New York City, USA). In these years he has published three indexed articles, several communications to Congresses and has actively participated in Scientific Meetings in which he has presented his research.

In the months that have elapsed as Advanced Training Fellow at the Institute of Psychiatry at the Maudsley, King’s College London, University of London, he is exercising his clinical activity at the Lambeth Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), attending the Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder clinic, participating in systemic therapy interventions and joining the dialectical-behavioral therapy groups for adolescents, tutored by Prof. Steven Csott.

As teaching activities she participates in classes for Child Psychiatry residents of South London and Maudsley Hospital NHS Trust as Specialist Registrar (SpR) and has completed the courses of Terapeutic Assessment for adolescent with self-harm, South London and Maudsley NHS (12h, London, Sep 2015) and the CAMHS Skills Course, Lambeth CAMHS (6h, London, Nov-Dec 2015).

On the research side and under the direction of Dr Philip McGuire he has joined the Department of Psychosis Studies.
