Julio David Vaquerizo Serrano

Medicine Degree, (University of Alcalá) and Official Degree of Psychiatry at Gregorio Marañón Hospital, with a formative itinerary in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. Master in Legal Psychiatry, (Complutense University of Madrid) and Expert in Affective Disorders, (University of Alcalá).
I have worked in an outpatient service with patients with severe mental disorder at Puente de Vallecas Child and Adolescent Mental Health Center; in an Autism Spectrum Disorders Outpatient Unit, (AMI-TEA), as well as in an Adolescent Day Patient Unit, (PRISMA), and in an Adolescent Inpatient Unit at Gregorio Marañón Hospital. During my trainee, I was in the Children’s Outpatient and Day Patient Center ‘La Pradera de San Isidro’, working with children under 12 years. I have been a therapist in the psychoeducational psychotherapy program ‘PIENSA’, working with adolescents who have had a first psychotic episode and with their families.
During my external rotation, I completed a specific training in child and adolescent psychiatry in London, working in an outpatient clinic for children and adolescents at Imperial College Healthcare, as well as in The Coborn Center for Adolescent Mental Health, (an Adolescent Inpatient Unit), and in the Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster Early Intervention Service for First Episodes of Psychosis.
I have participated in different congresses and conferences, highlighting the 62nd Congress of the Spanish Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Palma in 2018. I have contributed in several publications, (poster, articles and book chapters), nationally and internationally.
