Braulio Manuel Girela Serrano

Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Granada, studying fourth year at the Victoria University of Manchester (Erasmus Program) and fifth year at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (SICUE/SÉNECA Program).

Medical Specialist in Psychiatry trained at the Hospital Santa Ana de Motril (Granada) and the Hospital Universitario Clínico San Cecilio de Granada. He has made stays in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit of the University Hospital Virgen de las Nieves in Granada and another six-month stay in The Child and Adolescent Hospitalization Unit of the Zucker Hillside Hospital in New York, enjoying a scholarship from the Spanish Society of Psychiatry.

Master in Neurosciences and Pain by the University of Granada.

He has participated as a collaborator in several research projects, publishing four book chapters, and presenting 30 communications in National and International Congresses, being awarded two of them and being finalist in three others. In the area of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry he has published two articles in specialized journals.
