Dr. Antonio Rodríguez-Moreno is the Head of the Cellular Neuroscience and Plasticity Laboratory at the University Pablo de Olavide, in Seville, Spain. Following a degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Seville, Dr. Rodríguez-Moreno received his PhD degree in Neurobiology and Molecular Biology from the Cajal Institute and the Autonomous University of Madrid in Madrid, Spain. During a postdoc at the University Pablo de Olavide, in Seville (Spain). This was followed by a postdoctoral stay at University College London (UK) followed by a subsequent postdoct at University of Oxford. Main research interests include the study of the mechanisms of synaptic plasticity, the study of the physiology of glutamate and the study of synaptic physiology in wild-type animals and in animal models of epilepsy and autism.
