Degree in Medicine in University of Valencia (2006-2012). Specialist in Psychiatry.
She did MIR training in Asturias, Oviedo from June 2012 to February 2013. She did her residency in Psychiatry in Lluís Alcanyís de Xàtiva, Valencia. During her residency she rotated in different electives related with Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, such as Hospital La Fe and family therapy in Hospital de La Ribera (Alzira). She chose some electives abroad, in different services related with Child and Adolescent Psychiatry such as Women’s College Hospital in Toronto and Westminster CAMHS in London.
During residency she was involved in research in psychiatry, and she collaborated with different communications, journals and book chapters both nationally and internationally. She developed herself as a mentor supervising nurse school students during their degrees in Universidad Católica de Valencia.
She was enrolled weekly in Child and Adolescent Psychodynamic course. She did a Master degree in Mental Health in Universidad de Elche, and she chose as speciality Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Thanks to the grant offered from the Alicia Koplowitz Foundations she is currently doing her fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic in University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh. During her fellowship she has being involved in different research projects related with traumatic events and bipolar disorder in childhood. She received the Beatrix Hamburg Award in the AACAP congress in 2019. She was involved in different groups of interest such as consult liaison and collaborating with the Asociación de científicos from the Koplowitz Foundation. Currently, she has received the grant for research, Beca de Estancia Corta, from Alicia Koplowitz Foundation and she will prolong her stay during 8 months more in CABS (Children and Adolescent with Bipolar Spectrum disorders) unit in Westen Psychiatric Hospital in Pittsburgh in order to continue developing her research skills.
Currently, she has received the grant for research, Beca de Estancia Corta, from Alicia Koplowitz Foundation and she will prolong her stay during 8 months more in CABS (Children and Adolescent with Bipolar Spectrum disorders) unit in Westen Psychiatric Hospital in Pittsburgh in order to continue developing her research skills.
