Dr. Marta Rapado-Castro received the Young Investigator Award for Excellence in Research for the presentation of her paper “Effects of N-Acetyl Cysteine on Tobacco consumption in Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia” at the Australasian Schizophrenia Conference. Dr. Rapado-Castro was awarded a grant from the Alicia Koplowitz Foundation. Rapado-Castro a Grant for a Research Project on Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the 2012 call for applications, as well as two consecutive Fellowships for a Short Specialization and Research Stay in Psychiatry or Psychology, both for a period of six months at The University of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia; the first in 2012, at the “Orygen Youth Health Research Centre” and the second in 2013, at the “Melbourne Neuropsychiatry Centre”.
