He obtained his medical degree from the University of Navarra in 2018 and subsequently began his Psychiatry residency at Hospital Universitario Araba, which will end in September 2024. During his training program, he has actively participated in research and teaching activities at the hospital and the Bioaraba research centre and is a collaborating member of the Cibersam group 10. He has presented at several national and international psychiatry congresses, most recently at the APA Annual Meeting in New York. Currently, he is working on his doctoral thesis focused on researching new prevention biomarkers in bipolar disorder and the social consideration of treatment. He has a keen interest in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, especially in the fields of psychosis prevention and the potential of research using social media. On a psychotherapeutic level, he is pursuing a Master’s in Family Systemic Therapy at the Vasco Navarra School.
