Since completing her fellowship in Pediatrics and Neonatology, she has built her career at La Paz University Hospital in Madrid.
Her career path focused on neonatal neurology and neuroimaging techniques has led her to specialize in advanced neonatal cranial Doppler ultrasonography obtaining the European EurUSbrain accreditation in 2018.
She actively participates in national and international research projects involving neonatal brain and systemic hemodynamics as well as neurodevelopmental impairment in high risk infants. She is part of recognized working groups as the Spanish Maternal and Child Health Network and the Biomedical Research Foundation IdiPAZ. Member of the Spanish Society of Neonatology and the European Society of Pediatric Research.
Thanks to the scholarship granted by the Alicia Koplowitz Foundation she will complete a competitive clinical and research fellowship in neonatal neurology at SickKids Hospital, Toronto.
