The format was mixed, in-person and online, with a total attendance of <strong>600 people<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The conference was opened by <strong>Ms. Alicia Koplowitz, President of the Foundation<\/strong>, who explained that the central theme of the conference was, in her own words: &#8220;<em>Artificial intelligence opens up new possibilities for the early detection of mental health disorders in children and adolescents, improving diagnostic accuracy and providing more personalized care for patients. But along with these opportunities, ethical questions also arise, as well as the need to ensure that technology never replaces the closeness and humanity that characterize clinical work.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>During the Scientific Conference, different <strong>applications of AI in the mental health of children and adolescents <\/strong>were presented, such as eating disorders (ED), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), psychosis in bipolar disorder, and the prevention of suicidal behavior and self-harm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On October 10, 2025, coinciding with the Foundation&#8217;s 30th anniversary, the 18th Scientific Conference was held in Madrid at the Mutua Madrile\u00f1a Auditorium.
