Doctor-Surgeon from the University of Zulia and Bachelor of Philosophy from the Catholic University Cecilio Acosta, both in Venezuela, he has specialized in psychiatry at the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital in Barcelona, where he leads two research projects on Suicidal Behavior and High Risk Mental States in adolescent population.

During her residency she has made stays in different units of the main centers in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the country, such as the Hospitals Clínic and Sant Joan de Dèu in Barcelona, and the Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón in Madrid, carrying out through the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona Master’s studies in Psychiatry and Psychology of Childhood and Adolescence.
