Victor Pereira Sánchez

Psychiatrist in New York. Originally from Pontevedra, he obtained his Medical Degree (2014) and Specialty in Psychiatry at University of Navarra, with a track in child and adolescent psychiatry. Between 2019-2021 he has been a Fundación Alicia Koplowitz Fellow in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NYU School of Medicine, New York, with clinical, research, and teaching roles. His research areas are neuroimaging of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and global mental health. He is instructor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and at NYU College of Arts & Sciences, as well as lecturer at the School of Medicine and School of Public Health at Amoud University, Borama, Somaliland. He is the founder of the World Network of Psychiatric Trainees and the Global Mental Health Think Tank.
